CLASS SCHEDULE
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Fundamentals - This class offers basic movement instructions and teaches the theoretical components needed to be applied to reach a base level of practical Jiu Jitsu. It is perfect if you have never trained before and we welcome you to join us in this class as your first lesson.
All Levels - Suitable for everyone from beginner to experienced practitioner. 45 minutes of technique followed by 45 minutes of sparring.
Advanced - While still suitable for most levels of Jiu Jitsu, this class does offer an opportunity for students with good basic skills to attempt and refine their advanced movements and sequences and apply this to their sparring. It is taught at a faster pace and offers a greater amount of information per lesson.
Rolling - Live rounds, 6 minutes with 1 minute break in between.
Competition Class - Attended by those wishing to compete, the class focuses on Jiu Jitsu competition specific wrestling as well as problem solving and live work. This class is invite only - please let Coach Devon know if you are interested.
Open Mat - A time for live work and sparring, no techniques are taught.
Free Drilling/Warm up - Time to drill techniques you’ve been working on or warm up for the upcoming class
Structured Live Training - Live training from set positions with set objectives
Open Q & A - Time to ask any questions about technique’s or general jiujitsu questions you might have.
We are open 30 minutes prior to each scheduled class for you to fill forms, ask questions or stretch/warm up before class starts.
